The project proposes a mixed-use development with 357 market rate apartment units and 32,000 sf of commercial space on a 5.5-acre site located at the northwest corner of the Carson Street/Avalon Blvd intersection. The project would include two separate structures: the "Podium" (a five-story building to be located on the eastern portion of the Avalon Boulevard and Carson Street intersection), and the "Wrap" (a four-story building fronting Carson Street in the western portion of the site). The "Podium" would consist of a one level of subterranean parking garage, two above ground garage levels, ground floor retail and restaurant uses, and 221 residential units. The "Wrap" would exclusively consist of 136 residential units within four stories wrapped around a residential parking garage.
