Mixture of residential, commercial, and industrial uses. Multiple General Plan Designations and Zoning Classification in the City
The proposed Project is an ordinance amendment of the City of Signal Hill Oil Code to revise development standards for properties containing abandoned wells by adding a City Equivalency Standards that would allow improvements to be located over or in closed proximity to abandoned wells and to require methane testing on any property proposed for development. In addition, portions of Zoning Code Title would be amended to maintain consistency with the amended Oil Code.
