Document Description
The project is the installation of approximately 12.25 miles of fiber optic cable (FOC) from the community of Baker to the U.S. Army NTC at Fort Irwin. The alignment falls within or near disturbed to moderately-disturbed roadway alignments. The majority of the route roughly parallels Highway 127 (SR-127). The project route is comprised of four segments beginning at the intersection of Mill Road and Baker Blvd and ending at the NTC's Cell Tower Site 9. The new FOC is needed to support AT&T's Shoshone Central Office cellular network and the NTC's CTC-IS RCS.
