Document Description
Conditional Use Permit Application C-13-154 requests authorization to allow the facility to operate as a material recovery facility (MRF) and transfer station, defined as transfer station in the Fresno Municipal Code, so that material accepted at the site can contain more than 10 percent residual debris or one percent putrescible debris. Additionally, Conditional Use Permit Application No. C-13-154 requests authorization to operate a full solid waste facility at the subject site, and is proposing to process solid waste from commercial and multi-family residences, and to remove recyclables in order to reduce the amount of refuse being sent to landfills as required under California Assembly Bill 341. No new structures are proposed nor approved for the subject property. The majority of the operations will be completed inside the existing on-site buildings. Operational hours are 24 hours a day, 365 days, and public service hours are from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
