Document Description
Project replaces the two southernmost restrooms at Jalama Beach County Park with two new restrooms of similar size at the same locations. Each existing restroom measures 330 sq. ft. in area and both are connected to underground water, sewer and electrical service lines. Existing restrooms will be demolished and removed. The new/replacement restroom facilities will be 310 sq. ft. single story structures constructed of durable materials and placed in an expanded footprint of the existing restrooms due to their different shape. Minor grading, trenching and site work will occur to accommodate the new facilities, and activities are not expected to exceed 3 feet below existing grade. An archaeological monitor and a Chumash representative will be present during earth-disturbing project activities. Existing mature landscaping will be protected in-place.
