Document Description
The project will address maintenance repairs to the American River Bike Trail and one of its spur trails. New asphaltic concrete (a/c) will be overlaid between approximately Mile 12.5 of the bike trail and Mile 13, and between Mile 13.5 and Mile 15.5. Cracks in the pavement will be addressed by filling and overlaying with new asphalt. In cases of heaved and cracked pavement, a section between 4" and 12" will be removed and replaced. Any missing asphalt will be replaced, and the shoulders of the bike paths will be reformed with decomposed granite. No waterways will be affected and no tree removal is required.
