Document Description
CDFW has executed a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-140-R5, pursuant to Setion 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, to John McCaughey from Sunburst Sanctuary. The Permittee proposes to place ungrouted rock rip-rap on the creek bank in two locations where water flow has caused erosion and the banks to become vertical. Two willows will be removed to protect the bank, which is along a farm road. Permittee may construct up to 4 "U" - shaped ungrouted rock weirs in each section as an option to bank protection, to catch sediment and to prevent the bottom of the channel from eroding. Permittee shall submit CDFW plans for either or both options for controlling erosion to the channel prior to any work in the creek.
