Document Description
Project is limited to the installation of 5 drilled helical piers to support a home's foundation and the stabilization of the streambank adjacent to the home using rock slope protection. The 5 helical piers wil lbe drilled in place using a small track mounted drill rig and then pinned to the homes foundation to stabilize the structure prior to beginning slope stabilization. Bank stabilization will include the excavation of approx. 130 cubic yards of material from a 5 foot wide by 4 foot deep by 70 foot long toe trench and from a 3-foot deep by 70 foot long cut in the slope. The toe trench and slope will then be lined with a geotechnical fabric. Rock slope protection will then be installed, beginning in the toe trench and stacked up to the top of bank, filling the 3-foot cut slope with rock in order to reestablish pre-project contours. The excavated top soil will be used to backfill voids in the upper 2/3rds of the bank so that it can be replanted with native vegetation. Excess material will be removed from the site and disposed of properly. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement no. 1600-2014-0368-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
