The proposed project is the Silver Gate Yacht Club Foundation - Wheel Chair Regatta, which will take place at the Silver Gate Yacht Club and Shelter Island Shoreline Park in San Diego on Sunday, June 7, 2015. The District will provide sponsorship in the form of District services for the event, a boating experience for the physically disabled. The event will involve the boating community and military volunteers providing a day on the water for hundreds of physically disabled guest from San Diego and surrounding communitites. The event will also feature lunch and entertainment. The event has an expected attendance of approximately 400 people.
