Document Description
The proposed project is the Barrio Logan Grand Prix, which will take place in Barrio Logan and Cesar Chavez Park in San Diego on Saturday, May 2, 2015. The District will provide sponsorship in the form of District funding for the event, a 0.8-mile-long bicycle race. The event will include fast-paced bicycle racing by professional racers, top-level amateurs, and a children's cycling event. Spectators will have views of the racers along city sreets in the Barrio Logan area during the races that will be held throughout the day.
