Document Description
Conduct a soils investigation around the existing water tank to record the soils conditions discovered for future analysis and construction work. Work will core 4, 6-inch holes through existing sidewalks and core down into the soil with a 3-inch auger to a depth not to exceed 5 feet to determine the type and quality of the soil located at the facility. Specific repairs identified through the testing process will be subject to further review under CEQA. The holes will be backfilled with soil cuttings and the concrete patched with rapid-set concrete. Excess soil cuttings will be spread in adjacent undeveloped areas away from the waterways.
