Document Description
The project is limited to landscape and hardscape alterations on the upper bank of the San Lorenzo River within the 100-year floodway. The project includes removal of a pre-existing wood retaining wall ranging in height from 4 to 6 feet with removal of infill behind the wall; restoration to the natural grade and stabilization with a semi-permeable layer of cemented stone and concrete rubble of the uncovered area where infill is removed; removal of non-native invasive plant species and replacement with native ground cover plant species within a 500 sq. ft. area. A steep 4 foot wide 3 foot deep channel, which is used to convey flows from a roadside culvert outfall, will also be made erosion proof by adding lining and pavement to wire-reinforced cemented stone along the bottom, sides up to and surrounding the culvert outfall. also included are plans for improvements to a portion of the single family residence located within the parcel and adjacent to the San Lorenzo River on riverbank bedrock. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2013-0382-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
