Document Description
Project consists of the installation of a 40 foot rolling split gate on an existing fence, an access keypad and pedestal requiring an 18"x18"x24" concrete footing, signal and power wire for access pad that will be pulled through an existing conduit. Other improvements include the installation of an additional 250 feet of one-inch conduit installed in a trench (four foot wide and one foot deep); construction of an irregularly shaped concrete slab approximately 2,328 sq. ft.; installation of an approximately 300 feet long 10-inch buried water pipe (trench will be 18 inches wide, 300 feet long, 2 feet deep) connecting an existing open channel storm drain to a drain pipe; construction of a new concrete storm drain collection box (four by four feet); three additional drain inlets (12"x12"); and the removal of five pine trees to prevent accidental fall due to project construction damage. The gate and concrete slab will provide access to an open field currently used for parking and to access other parts of the conservation camp. The storm drain system improvements are being made to eliminate the release of storm water onto a grass area where it ponds.
