Document Description
Caltrans proposes to construct a CIDH tangent wall to stabilize the slope beneath SR 116 at post mile 15.0. The wall will be 12-ft high at its highest point and a total of 165-ft long. A uniform 4-ft shoulder will be put in place on the southbound lane above where the wall is being installed, otherwise the lane configurations will remain the same as existing. Type-80 see-through railing will be installed above the wall and adjacent to the new shoulder. Two utility poles will have to be temporarily relocated for the project.
