Document Description
The City is proposing to purchase the 676 El Camino Real property. Upon completion of the purchase, the City would demolish the existing uses on the site and redevelop the site with a surface parking lot. The surface parking lot would contain approximately 20 designated spaces for public use and would be combined with the existing surface lot (owned and operated by the City) within Williams Plaza, which is located immediately adjacent to the project site, for a combined total of approximately 155 parking spaces. The new surface parking spaces are intended to serve existing demand for downtown area parking, as identified in the City's 2013 Downtown Parking Study.
