The goal of the Twitchell Habitat Enhancement Project is to expand and diversify the habitats on Twitchell Island. The specific objectives of this project are to design, plant, monitor, and maintain two new habitat enhancement sites (28 total acres), and replant three existing habitat mitigation sites (16.5 total acres) on Twitchell Island. The project sites will be monitored for five years after planting to ensure habitat establishment.
