Document Description
The project is limited to the stabilization of the left stream bank (looking down stream) adjacent to the surface water diversion and fishway facilities in Corralitos Creek. Large 3-ton rip rap will be keyed in and installed to conform to the bank contours upstream and downstream of the repair site and will not extend into the low flow channel past the current bank contouring. Approximately 40 cy of rock will be used to construct the project. No rip rap above the existing stream bed grade shall be placed more than four feet from the toe of the stream bank. No rip rap shall be keyed in below the existing stream bed grade more than five feet into the active channel. Streambed material excavated for key-ways will be used as intergrade backfill. Due to the high scour of the location, the rocked area will not be vegetated. No vegetation or woody debris will be disturbed as a result of the project. CDFG is executing a lake and streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2015-0020-3 pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the project applicant, Steve Palmisano, City of Watsonville.
