Document Description
The purpose of the project is to construct a new 96-bed jail. The jail would have approximately 25,000 sf of floor space as well as an outdoor exercise area encompassing at least 600 sf. Associated features would include employee and visitor parking, security fencing, dumpster enclosures, a perimeter access road, and landscaping. Offsite improvements would include utility tie-ins, construction of a turn lane on State Highway 3 at its intersection with Tom Bell Road, and construction of an emergency access road.
