Document Description
Caltrans proposes to replace the bridge crossing Lagunitas Creek on SR 1. The bridge is located at PM 28.5, south of the unincorporated town of Point Reyes and north of the "T" intersection of SR 1 with Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Five Build Alternatives and one No-Build Alternative were analyzed in the EIR/EA. The preferred alternative is Alternative 3a, Three-span, concrete bridge. Under this alternative, construction would occur over 1 year, with most construction activities occurring in 5 months. The purpose of the project is to provide a safe, seismically stable crossing of Lagunitas Creek.
