The applicant requests approval of a Grading Permit for a grading operation that distributed approximately one acre of a 45-acre property for the purpose of leveling land for a garden. Disturbance to the site included the leveling of approximately 0.63 acres of land in July 2013, with additional scraping/grading of the roadway bringing disturbance on site to approx. one acre. Grading activities were conducted over a one-week period in April 2013 using a small tractor. Disturbance to the site included approximately 275 cubic yards (cy) of cut and 275 cy of fill, resulting in the leveling and terracing of approximately 0.63 acres of land within an unimproved portion of the residential property. Maximum cut height is 6 feet, and maximum slope is 2:1.
