Document Description
The City of Folsom proposes to construct a new multi-use natural earthen trail within the City of Folsom. The trail will be approximately 2 miles long and 6 feet wide and will be constructed by volunteers using hand tools and a small bobcat (such as a Bobcat 570 MINI). A single-span bridge will be constructed over the riparian area near the west end of the project (Figure 2). The bridge will be approximately 60 feet long and 6 feet wide with concrete abutments. The bridge will be made of pressure-treated wood and is proposed to be assembled onsite. This project has incorporated design features to avoid potential environmental impacts.
