Document Description
The Proposed Project includes construction and operation of facilities that would allow the District to accept, convey and use water "produce" from oilfield operations in the Kern Front Field for irrigation and groundwater recharge. Facilities constructed as part of the Proposed Project include a pipeline along with associated infrastructure (including inlets, valves, flowmeters, monitoring stations, and sample ports) that would convey the produced water from a point on an existing pipeline located approximately one mile north of Imperial Street to the District's Rosedale Spreading Ponds for groundwater recharge. The Proposed Project pipeline would total approximately 2.5 miles in length and would be constructed within existing easements and rights-of-way. Additionally, the proposed project includes the delivery of produced water through an existing pipeline into the Lerdo Canal at a point just north of the Cawelo Pump Station B for irrigation purposes.
