South Beach Restroom

The project involves constructing a public restroom to accommodate existing needs. The project would require reconfiguring rock revetment/riprap on the project site and removing existing stairs that lead to the beach. The new building would be approx. 235 sq. ft. and include three single-accommodation stalls, one American with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible stall, and a storage closet. A building plaza of approx. 1,000 sq. ft. would adjoin the facility and provide patio area for the building's exterior hand washing sinks, hand dryers, showers, and a new ADA access ramp, which would provide access to the facility from the street. Stairs from the patio would provide access to the beach.
