Document Description
Project includes the construction and operation of an aluminum direct chill billet casting facility. The project would consist of an approx. 500,000 sq. ft. aluminum cast housing building, on-site water treatment plant, evaporation pond, primary metal storage area, and a supporting office building. The cast house, water treatment plant, power plant, truck scales and loading area, evaporation pond, and an approx. 11,000 sq. ft. office building would be located on the eastern portion of the project site. The western portion of the project site will be used for aluminum and finished product storage. In order to visually screen the project from the adjoining residences, a ten foot high earthen berm topped with a chain link fence will be constructed along the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of the project site.
