Document Description
The City of Corcoran (the City) is proposing to install a new well on the southwest corner of Waukena Ave and 4th Street that will be supplied by groundwater, and will be approximately 1,637 to 1,767 ft deep. The proposed Project will occupy an enclosed area measuring 85 ft x 74 ft. It will connect to the raw water system of the City's water treatment plant, to be used as potable drinking water. During construction, a 108 ft x 94 ft staging area adjacent to the project area will be used. Work will consist of trench excavation at the well site to connect piping to the existing 16-inch and 24-inch water main, which runs 5 ft below ground level, and services the City. The well will have an expected capability of between 1,500 and 2,000 gallons per minute.
