Document Description
The proposed project involves executing a lease agreement allowing for the development of a household hazardous waste collection center consisting of a permanent structure, two chemical storage bins, a 500-gallon above-ground storage tank for used oil and antifreeze, an office, a restroom, and associated equipment necessary for the project operation. The facility will accept hazardous waste from the public, including conditionally exempt small quantity generators (CESQG). Collected waste materials will be stored on-site within secure containers in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The facility purposes to be open from 8-4 pm daily for the CESQG with the majority of HHW operations occurring on non-holiday Saturdays.
