Document Description
The project proposes the construction and operation of five non-potable water connections that would be used to provide non-potable water for irrigation purposes to four existing golf courses. Each new golf course connection includes an offsite connection (connection to an existing pipeline and installation of a meter) and an onsite connection (pipeline from meter to existing onsite golf course lake, pond or pipeline). The proposed connections will be located at Indian Springs Golf Club (approximately 3,000 linear feet of 8-inch to 12-inch diameter pipeline), Avondale Golf Club (approximately 1,200 linear feet of 8-inch to 12-inch diameter pipeline), Desert Falls Country Club (approximately 1,200 linear feet of 12-inch to 18-inch diameter pipeline) and Palm Valley County Club (two 12-inch to 18-inch diameter pipelines; 600 linear feet and 1,400 linear feet). Construction of the project includes removal of existing landscape, asphalt, or concrete and trenching along the pipeline alignment; placement of pipe bedding and pipeline; backfilling trenches and compacting soil; returning the land surface to pre-construction conditions to the extent practicable and installation of meters and motor-actuated valves.
