Document Description
The District proposes to acquire supplemental water supplies in an amount sufficient to increase the District's average deliveries of Table A amount on the date the Notice of Preparation was issued by 5,000 acre feet of "wet" water. If the source of such supplemental water supplies is from the SWP, a Table A amount of about 8,600 AF/y would currently be required, based on the current SWP average reliability of 58%. Such supplemental water supplies could require a larger SWP Table A contact amount be acquired if the SWP water allocation continues to decline below the current level of 58%, both to maintain the amount of "wet" water that would be received from the 8,600 AF/y of Table A amount currently proposed to be acquired at 5,000 AF/y, and to make up for a decline in average deliveries from the District's current Table A contract amount when the delivery percentage declines below 58%.
