Document Description
The proposed project involves the relocation of fuel and water vaults located at Berths 10-3, 10-4, 10-7, and 10-8 at the Tenth Avenue MarineTerminal (TAMT) in San Diego. The existing vaults for fuel and potable water services are ten to twelve inches above ground and extend six to nine feet from the edge of the wharf. The fuel and water vaults are proposed to be relocated because they present an obstacle to marine terminal operations, including the offloading and handling of cargo and the placement of hoppers. All Berths 10-3 and 10-4, two fuel vaults will be relocated to below ground and two water vaults will be relocated nearer to the wharf bull rail. At Berths 10-7 and 10-8, one fuel vault and one palm oil vault will be placed below ground and one water vault will be relocated nearer to the wharf bull rail. The proposed project will maintain existing fuel and water services.
