Document Description
Robbs Peak Powerhouse is located on the shore of Union Valley Reservoir and is part of the Upper American River Project (UARP), a FERC-liscened (No. 2101) hydroelectric project operated by SMUD. Robbs Peak Powerhouse is a reinforced concrete structure approaching 50 years in age. The facility is in need of exterior refurbishment and upgrades, including concrete repairs, steel corrosion removal, protective coating, and waterproofing to extend the facility life. The purpose of the Robbs Peak Powerhouse Exterior Resealing Project is to extend the facility life by repairing and resealing both the roof and three exterior walls of the structure. The tentative project construction schedule is from the late 2015 to mid-2016.
