Document Description
The project proposes the installation of existing aboveground utilities in an underground joint utility trench; improving and widening Olive Avenue to accommodate a center turn lane and parking along the north side of the roadway, addition of bike lanes and sidewalks to improve public safety, and improvement of sight distance approaching the railroad crossing; and replacing undersized open drainage ditches (Olive Ditch and Railroad Ditch) with a pipeline and culvert to better convey storm flow during 25-year storm events. Additional project components include permanent green storm water source control measures, such as tree-box bio filters or equivalent bio-treatment facilities.
