Document Description
Harvest Water (formerly the South County Ag Program) includes expanding Regional San's recycled water system to serve agricultural uses in south Sacramento County. The effects of Harvest Water were analyzed in an EIR that was certified in 2017. The On-Farm Connections Vehicle Turnouts Project (project)—an element of Harvest Water—includes aspects that were not known at the time the Program EIR was prepared, and this new information is the focus of the Addendum. The project includes the installation of permanent vehicle turnouts to be used for parking off of the paved roadway during operations and maintenance activities related to the lateral pipelines. The vehicle turnouts would be located within the public road ROW. In some instances, the vehicle turnout may extend a short distance onto private agricultural lands immediately adjacent to the road ROW.
