Document Description
The existing West Point sewer plant, constructed in 1993, serves 165 connections and has a permitted capacity of 0.058-mgd. The project will consolidate a small sewer plant serving 28 residential connections in the nearby community of Wilseyville, CA with the West Point sewer plant and continue to operate within its existing capacity. The project includes construction of a small lift station and 3-inch x 3,800 ft sewer pipeline, a community septic tank to remove solids and equalize flows upstream of the West Point plant, residuals/septage/sludge handling and containment facilities, installation of synthetic liners in existing effluent storage ponds, electrical and instrumentation upgrades, and a new 3-inch x 3,500-ft pipeline to transfer treated effluent to the existing Wilseyville pond and sprayfield for auxiliary storage and disposal.
