Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0073-R1, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the project applicant, Mr. Eric Nelson representing USFWS Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The project is limited to 1 encroachment to temporarily realign stream channel and divert flows in the terminal reach of Chism Creek to dewater an access and staging area for a larger tidal wetlands restoration project (26 acres), and upon completion realigned and restored channel into the middle basin of the restoration area (approximately 580 ft in length and 820 cu yds of excavation), and the banks planted with riparian vegetation.
