The Watson Ranch site encompasses approx 309 acres of mostly undeveloped land located in the northeastern corner of the city, in southern Napa County. The project would result in the development of the site with a mix of residential, commercial, and visitor-serving uses. The project would include adoption of a specific plan, including a land use plan, development standards, and design guidelines that would govern the future development of the WRSP site. The project would rehabilitate portions of an abandoned cement plant to create a new focal point within the city for commercial uses, civic uses, a town square, and visitor-serving uses, all surrounded by a variety of residential housing types that complement the existing community.
