Document Description
The Central Valley Regional Water Board is issuing a 401 Water Quality Certification for the subject Project. The project consists of: 1) removing the existing culvert and replacing it with a bottomless culvert; 2) installing a new pipe to carry water from the north bank of the American River to the south bank; 3) removing the existing, antiquated pipe from the American River; 4) creating a stairstepping drainage pool facility as a transition from the new culvert to the low flow bank of the American River; and 5) removing two unused steel and concrete vaults on the northern bank of the American River.
