Document Description
The proposed project consists of: 1) pipeline construction from the Carmichael Water District's Bajamont Water Treatment Plant (WTP) under the American River to the existing Golden State Water Company (GSWC) water distribution system in Rancho Cordova; 2) abandoned pipeline removal across the American River; 3) culvert replacement and bank stabilization on the north bank; and 4) stream restoration along the north bank of the American River. The Project will provide treated water to GSWC to replace groundwater affected by contamination. The State Lands Commission action is an approval of a 25-yr General Lease - Public Agency Use through August 18, 2040.
