Document Description
The project would construct three new two-story buildings with 11 classrooms and a 'tinker' room (gathering room for special projects) on the Nesbit Elementary School campus. The first two buildings would be constructed in 2015. The third building would be constructed at an undetermined time in the future when the school needs capacity. The project includes construction of an outdoor courtyard, and relocation of the school basketball courts. Two special-education rooms would be reassigned for regular classroom use. The project would increase the school capacity from 555 students to 830 students (an increase of 275 students). The school has 57 staff members. The project would require an additional five staff members.
