Document Description
The Proposed Project is the construction of a new, five-story instructional building (four levels above grade and one subterranean level) on the main campus of SDSU. The new building, which would be referred to as the "Engineering and Interdisciplinary Sciences Building," will include teaching and research laboratory space and will provide SDSU with state-of-the art research facilities to attract significant research projects and funding. The need for the new building stems from outdated facilities and growth in enrollment in the engineering disciplines. The new building would be located to the south of the existing Engineering Building, and would replace the existing Engineering Labs and Industrial Technology buildings.
