The applicant is requesting the change of zone and general plan amendment for the project site to develop the site for commercial purpose in the future. The site is currently zoned R1 (Single Family Residential) and it is being proposed by the Applicant to change the zone to CN. The project would change the land use designation for the project area from Low Density Residential to General Commercial.
