Document Description
As a responsible agency with respect to the LAX Landside Access Modernization Program project, the District reviewed the notice of determination of the City of Los Angeles, the lead agency for the project. In quitclaiming easement affecting District-owned parcels to the underlying fee property owners, the District is acting as a responsible agency. On August 6, 2024, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors found that the easements for drainage purposes in Parcels 4EXE, 5EXE, 6EXE, 7EXE, 7EXE.1, and 13EXE and for storm drain and appurtenant structures in Parcels 3EXE and 15EXE related to Project No. 181-113 Aviation Boulevard-96th Street Drain, in the community of Westchester in the City of Los Angeles, are no longer required for the purposes of the Los Angeles County Flood Control District, and will quitclaim those easements to the underlying fee property owners.
