The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0224-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Nevada City Engineering as represented by Andrew Cassano. The project is limited to placement of a culvert in the channel of a spring fed, perennial, unnamed tributary to the Bear River to facilitate a driveway crossing. The project will also include placement of rip rap on the banks of the channel and on the compacted soils surrounding the culvert on both the upstream and downstream ends of the culvert to minimize erosion.
