Document Description
The project, which may be phased for purposes of construction and funding, consists of the installation of modular and ready-made tanks, containerized water treatment equipment, solar panels, and a brackish water extraction well on the beach to improve beach water quality, stablize the City's use of recycled water, maintain groudwater aquifers, and conserve potable supply. Specifically, the City will install a containerized brackish water reverse osmosis (RO) treatment unit and solar panels at the City's existing Santa Monica Urban Runoff Recycling Facility (SMURRF).
