Document Description
Department of Water Resources (DWR) requests transfer under Water Code Section 1725, et seq involving the exchange of up to 5,000 acre-feet of State Water Project (SWP) water and Central Valley Project (CVP) water. DWR returns SWP water previously banked by Alameda County Water District and Zone 7 in teh Semitropic Water Storage District and Cawelo Water District groundwater banking programs through an exchange with CVP water currently allocated to Contra Costa Water District. SWP water would be transferred to CCWD for use in ins service area.
