Document Description
Metropolitan and the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District (Valley District) will amend an existing Coordinated Operating Agreement (COA) through 2035, for continued cooperative development of opportunities to identify water supply exchanges. The COA will provide mutual benefits involving each agency's distribution system capabilities and improved Metropolitan water supply reliability. In addition, Metroplitan and the Valley District will enter into an exchange agreement for 11,000 acre-feet of water supplies to demonstrate the ability of existing facilities to produce and convey local water supplies.
