Document Description
The project involves the excavation of a channel through the alluvial deposits and the construction of an adjacent berm so that the Lewis Creek Channel will be sustained in its original location. The berm is to be constructed with the alluvium material that is excavated from the channel. A temporary stream diversion will be installed and base flow will be carried around the project site before construction is to begin. The diversion will consist of installing a temporary coffer dam up gradient of the area of construction and diverting the flow around the project area in a temporary, flexible pipe.
