Document Description
The project is to restore the natural flow of water by disconnecting an old existing PVC pipe that was diverting water from the natural spring. The water will empty into the existing (now dry) small wetland area and then into the natural stream channel. The water flow was estimated at approximately 135 gallons per day, and is sufficient to sustain a small pool of surface water for wildlife and a small patch of wetland vegetation. In order to avoid disturbance to this protected cultural resource site, ground disturbance will be avoided. A wildlife friendly water trough will be set on rocks on the surface of the ground within the existing channel.
