NOE - Notice of Exemption
The purpose of the project is to renovate and elevate the existing house, garage and deck outside of the flood zone. The project will involve installing a new perimeter foundation on Helical Piers, new cripple wall framing with proper FEMA flood zone venting and drainage, and renovating the existing home including bathroom, kitchen, heating, electrical and plumbing systems, replacing windows and doors, insulation, drywall, and flooring. The garage will be rebuilt to legal depth and height, replacing doors and windows, and new slab floor. All located rotten lumber in both structures will be replaced during renovation.
