Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is issuing Amendment No. 2 to Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2012-0187-R4. The Amendment is limited to the following changes in study activities: * Weir-style traps with wing walls composed of wood or metal may be used in addition to fyke nets for trap and haul activities. * Trap and haul activities will be conducted until May for fall-run and until June for spring-run Chinooksalmon * Adult salmon will be held in holding pens below Friant Dam for a limited time until a suitable male is collected. * A maximum of 30 single-channel receivers will be placed into the San Joaquin River between Friant Dam and Merced River confluence and may remain in river year-round.
