Document Description
The project consists of substantial structural repair of piles that have deteriorated structurally and replacement of one missing pile. Repair of the pile will involve cutting and removing the existing pile to a point 6 inches beyond the extent of visible deteriation. The remaining pile stub will receive a threaded rod for pinning the new pile timer to the pile stub. A fiberglass jacket will be fitted around the pile connection jhoint and filled with hydro ester epoxy. Pile cap beams will receive new bracing and "T" straps. Off-site storage of the cottage may be required.
